For Ekstra Bladet, we designed cover art for their growing and diverse podcast universe. Each podcast has its own voice – and that needed to shine through in the cover, whether the genre was true crime, current affairs, or sports.

For example, we created a dark and gritty cover for Denmark’s most popular true crime podcast Afhørt, a playful, gossip-inspired cover for Bare mellem os, and a minimalist, Soviet-propaganda-inspired look for Det Røde Spøgelse.

The advantage of such a broad universe is that the techniques can vary just as much as the genres – from photographic collages and illustrations to 3D. The common thread? Every cover moves. So far, we’ve created 11 covers, most of which have been adapted to multiple formats.
